Million American March
Immigration is an emotional issue that touches every American's life. There is no doubt that immigration has been an important part of our history. But we believe that government policies and enforcement practices are becoming increasingly untenable and unjust and have been for quite some time. Some believe that there are just too many coming at once, others believe that too many come illegally. Some believe that their condition of unemployment, underemployment or disenfranchisement is a result of one foreign worker visa program or another. Some believe that America's natural environmental wonders are threatened by the crush of an unnecessary population boom. Some believe that American heritage is at stake. We believe that anyone who believes in any of the aforementioned conditions, and myriad others we probably forgot to mention, is not only correct, but can be an important ally in our cause. It is our hope, our desire and our intention to be a catalyst for change. We pledge to maintain the spirit of patriotism, honor and civil discourse that should be expected of every worthy contributor to the future of America.
